In this post, we will answer the question – what is Proxifier?
There’s a vast difference between a proxy server and a proxy client. While the former is what you’ll typically refer to as a proxy, the latter acts as an architecture that various proxies can connect with. The main reason why people use proxy clients is for easy proxy management.
There are several proxy clients out there, and in this post, we’ll be talking about one – Proxifier. What is Proxifier? How does it work? How much does it cost? I’ll be answering all these questions about the software.
Proxifier is a proxy client. Its principal function is to enable proxy support on network applications that generally do not support proxies. It is available for Windows and Mac Computers.
This proxy client has been around for over ten years. It integrates seamlessly with network applications and is an ideal proxy client in different use cases.
Built with C++, the Proxifier software is lightweight at just 4 MB size. It supports various technologies including Proxy Redundancy, IPv6, HTTP(S), Windows Service, SOCKS, DNS via Proxy, Proxy Checker, XML Config, and NTLM.
However, you should note that Proxifier does not provide you with proxies; it only provides the interface to manage them.
Here are the key features of the Proxifier proxy client software:
Compatibility
As mentioned earlier, Proxifier was developed to enable proxy support on network applications that do not support proxies. It also works with network applications that support proxies. As a result, you can use this proxy client with any web application, website, or web browser.
Centralized control
You can connect multiple network applications at a time with Proxifier. From the master computer, you can manage everything. All connections are routed via a single entry point so that you can adjust settings and configurations for all applications from a single computer.
Faster browsing
Proxifier routes all connections to ensure faster network delivery. This implies that you’ll be browsing faster than you usually would.
Security
When you connect your network applications via Proxifier, you can worry less about having security breaches. The software tunnels all proxy requests through encrypted channels, so there’s no data leak.
Flexibility
As a proxy client, Proxifier allows you to choose different proxies for specific network applications. That way, you won’t have to stress switching proxies whenever you want to access a separate application. It switches automatically.

Proxifier is easy to use. After installing Proxifier, all you need to do is to configure your proxy servers; in other words, add proxies.
From the app dashboard, select Profile and then select Configure Proxy Server Settings. From the new box, click Add and enter the details of the proxy.
The details you’ll need to provide include server address, port, protocol (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS 4, SOCKS 5), authentication (username and password). After entering all of these, click OK, and you’re done.
To use Proxifier, you have to purchase a license. Check out its pricing below:
License for Mac – $39.95
License for Windows:
Standard Edition – $39.95
Portable Edition – $39.95
You only get to purchase the license once, and you can use the tool for a lifetime. Furthermore, you can use the software free for 31 days before paying for a subscription.
Proxifier is an ideal proxy client for connecting network applications that don’t support proxies. Aside from its useful features, the tool is ideal for proxies because it is relatively easy to use.
As mentioned earlier, Proxifier allows you to manage proxies without hassles; hence, you’ll have to get the proxies elsewhere.
If you’re wondering where you can purchase ideal proxies that work with Proxifier, you should buy from ProxyRack. Thankfully, ProxyRack offers a wide range of proxies e.g., residential, mobile, and datacenter proxies.
